“My grandfather Giacomo, the son of Pietro, the founder, was the first member of the family to invest in the industrialisation of our company and to shoulder the financial and moral responsibility. Passing down his values, we in the younger generation now maintain the same cultural approach to the job."

Giacomo Coglio, AD

THE TECNOFOR TEAM

Our people are an essential asset of the group, as well as a vital component of our competitiveness. Human relationships represent a strategic element of development in our business activities. It is, in fact, human relationships that allow us to communicate and build a rapport based on trust with our clients and, more generally, with all of our stakeholders.

It is our employees themselves that are the key element in building those relationships which permit us to work for and with our clients, and to thus develop the territory. This is why we decided to apply a policy of human resource management the objective of which is to manage and develop our human capital as best as we can, nurturing our employees’ potential and developing their abilities.

TRAINING MANAGEMENT

Training is an integral part of the continuous improvement dictated by Tecnofor’s Quality Management System and expressly required by the ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 certifications which the company possesses.

Inoltre, ogni nuovo assunto viene affidato a un “tutor” con il compito di affiancare e seguire la nuova risorsa fin da subito e durante tutto il percorso di formazione.Furthermore, every new hire gets taken under the wing of a “tutor” whose job it is to accompany and support the new employee throughout the entire training process.

THE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

The company is particularly committed to ensuring that new hires are properly trained and obtain the qualifications necessary for performing all activities.

It is for this reason that a specific document has been drafted, the PR-01 procedure on training management, which accurately identifies every phase of training that new hires must go through and defines the criteria for:

  • identifying training and development needs;
  • defining duties and skills;
  • planning and performing necessary activities;
  • conducting training initiatives;
  • verifying effectiveness;
  • checking the validity of the certifications and/or qualifications.

Training can be conducted through:

  • internal or external courses;
  • annually scheduled or one-off courses;
  • shadowing.

At the end of each training course, employees must take an assessment test on the practical application of the knowledge they have acquired.
