THE ELECTRIC FUTURE

Research and Optimisation

The automotive industry is part of a complex and highly competitive market, one that is subject to frequent changes such as the one we are now witnessing: the trend towards electrification. Within this context, Tecnofor studies and researches product optimisation processes to insert itself in this continuously developing market.

From the cylinder to the wheel, we handle both powertrain and body in white, managing to satisfy every aspect of the industry’s needs.

Mechanical machining processes like CNC and TRANSFER are used in conjunction with technical expertise and development.

This allows for customised optimisation of the product’s design according to the production process.

Tecnofor has always taken advantage of its stability and presence within the market, making itself essential to fulfilling clients’ requests.

In the automotive sector, our experience combines with the innovation that we have always been known for, allowing us to look to the future with confidence, professionalism, and determination.

AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS

Tecnofor provides the automotive industry with sub-assemblies, parts, and components for both the outer body (body in white, chassis) and motors and transmissions (powertrain), with a particular focus on the emerging electrification sector (parts for battery casings, coupling groups for electric/traditional transmissions). Starting with the client’s requests, we use our expertise to optimise the production cycle according to the expected results in terms of cost, quality, and volume, selecting the best production

production technology for unrefined products (melting, die casting, extrusion, moulding, forging, etc.) and for finished components (machining with a 3, 4, or 5 axle CNC milling machine, transfer machine, etc.). Tecnofor performs in-house design of special tools and equipment, employing the best consultants for the more specialistic phases of production. The production is constantly computer-monitored by company management systems, in order to ensure optimal planning and the punctuality of deliveries.

IATF 16949 MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Quality in the automotive sector guarantees suppliers that strive for constant improvement, capable of monitoring their processes and understanding the needs of their clients. The IATF 16949 technical specification can be applied to the automotive industry’s entire supply chain, including organisation sites in which vehicles or components are manufactured or treatment and finishing services are provided.

WHY GET IATF 16949 CERTIFIED WITH SQS AUTOMOTIVE

The market value of the management systems certification is directly proportional to the authoritativeness of the body that issued it. The body recognised by ANFIA (Italian Association of the Automotive Industry) for the issue of certifications that conform to the IATF 16949 technical specification is the SQS AUTOMOTIVE consortium, of which IMQ is a part.
